BIO: An experienced business leader and expert in family enterprises, a certified facilitator of dialogue and intergenerational succession strategies. For nearly two decades she has combined hands-on management of industrial production with advisory and social engagement at both national and European level.
Co-owner and Vice President of the Management Board of GELG Sp. z o.o., a respected company in the metal-processing sector specialising in serial production of components for demanding industrial segments. Thanks to consistent operational management and a strong commitment to quality, GELG delivers for leading international corporations.
Katarzyna is the founder and President of the Firmy Rodzinne (Family Businesses) Foundation, which since 2011 has been building a community of almost 1,300 companies united under the “Family Business Tree” trademark. She actively supports entrepreneurs in professionalising management, succession planning, ESG and sustainable development. She collaborates with the European Commission, the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP) and international partners within the COSME and Early Warning Europe programmes, implementing systemic solutions that enhance SME resilience.
She serves on advisory bodies, speaks at major economic events, and works closely with the boards of family businesses and owner-led corporations. She combines ownership experience with a deep understanding of transformational processes in business. She is valued for her high ethical standards, systemic approach, and her ability to bridge the worlds of industry, academia and responsible, multigenerational entrepreneurship.
